HZ University of Applied Sciences is located in the South-West of the Netherlands. With a population of some 4,800 national and international students we are a small university with a personal approach. HZ offers high-quality study programmes. Since 2011, HZ has been in the top three of Dutch multidisciplinary universities of applied sciences.
As a university of applied sciences we focus on practice-based education and research opportunities. Our close cooperation with the business world, various research centres and our global network of partner universities is of paramount importance.
We know and understand the education systems of both countries and have profound knowledge of the Indonesian context. We excel in initiating and facilitating institutional cooperation between Indonesian and Dutch knowledge institutions, managing projects, stakeholder engagement, event organizing and implementing scholarship programs.
In order to support the Dutch knowledge sector, we closely collaborate with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Jakarta and a broad range of Dutch and Indonesian education institutions, as well as with a variety of relevant Indonesian government ministries, regional and local governments, research institutions, scholarship providers, international organizations and the business sector. Our extensive networks enable us to facilitate collaboration between academia, government and industry to build and sustain a successful knowledge economy.
Furthermore, as the key facilitator of the Holland Alumni Network in Indonesia, we provide access to thousands of competent Indonesian professionals who studied in the Netherlands, to enhance the bilateral cooperation, knowledge exchange and trade relations between Indonesia and the Netherlands.

The institute began as an agricultural school formed by the Dutch colonial regime in the early 20th century. Currently, it is one of the best universities in Indonesia.
Nuffic is part of the Dutch education field. Its goal is to support Dutch institutions and the Dutch government in internationalisation activities. The focus of its service lies in the Netherlands, even though its mission extends beyond that. Nuffic cooperates with foreign partners, institutions and governments. The organisation dedicates itself primarily to the Dutch knowledge economy, but at the same time it stimulates capacity building in developing countries.
